Time passes so quickly. It’s important to document life well, to be able to look back and have a clear visual of what life was like, to appreciate where you have been and anticipate what lies ahead.

Portraiture is a delicate balance of documenting what’s already happening and giving direction to create natural images. As a photographer, having an inherent sense of that balance is essential in capturing memorable portraits.

I offer portrait sessions for families, couples and children. Sessions are about an hour and come with the digital images. They can take place on-location at a local park, at your home or in studio for an additional fee.

A photographer needs to be someone whom you can trust, both as a person and a visionary. On your wedding day, you want a calming presence, someone to help you relax. Your only job should be to focus on being present and allowing yourself to experience the emotions of the day. My job is to document, so the images can serve as visual reminders of everything you truly experienced.

I’ve shot weddings across nine states, in the rain and in the snow, in fields and forests, barns and llama farms, historic cathedrals and plantation homes, in creeks and symphony halls, in backyards and on mountaintops. Strive for peace and flexibility on your wedding day; I’ll take care of the rest.
